Today is BEDAZZLING FASHION FRIDAY beautiful people of the world!! Dejah’s Fashion Friday presents Social Butterflies Boutique “Live Love Shop LA” and owner Michelle Roy. Located on 3rd street directly across the street from the famous Toast Cafe, Social Butterflies’ mosaic manikins immediately caught my eye and drew me in! Stopped in my tracks, I had to go in and I am so glad that I did! I found a treasure chest filled with a variety of bedazzled items! Owner Michelle Roy, kindly welcomed me in as she greeted me with a smile and showed me around. My eyes were filled with wonder as I looked around at her unique shiny bedazzled pieces.
From her sea side collection of shells, starfish and conch shells, gorgeous rose gold and golden studded shell jewelry, all of her items are beautifully and creatively designed by hand in the boutiques back work space. Noe, one of the bedazzling artists had such a pleasant spirit as did his bedazzling partner Samantha.
Social Butterflies bedazzles tops, hats, shoes, sandals, purses, and flowers, with chains, studs, spikes, and Swarovski crystals, each piece carefully designed to perfection!
Known for her stackable bedazzled and skeleton bracelets, Michelle also features, my very own favorite, drum roll please…!!! SEMI- PRECIOUS GEMS!! YAAAY!! Her bead bar features beads and gems ranging from Turquoise to Labradorite, Opal, Jade, Tigers Eye, Rubies, Coral you name it, she has it! And the fun part is, you can custom design and make your very own piece or have her team create one for you! Her back area work space is adorned with vibrant vision boards, beads and chains, which she has opened to her clients to share in the fun of creating their own pieces with her designers.
Be Green and be Glamourous! I was so inspired by Michelle’s desire to save Mother Earth and encourage her clients to go green and still be glamourous. Social Butterflies custom designs Italian leather bedazzled re-useable glamour cup holders, sold with their very own velvet pouches, cutting back on waste from paper cup holders. Go Michelle!

Being the social butterfly that I am, it would only be fitting that I walk upon a flower – fro wearing social butterfly girl, the logo for Social Butterflies. Beautifully crowned with bountiful and colorful flowers and a simple butterfly necklace, inspired by Michelle’s love of flowers, she asked her friend Valerie, from Italy to design the logo 10 years ago when her fluttering journey of jewelry began.
Michelle gifted me my very own feather lariat which I LOVE!!! Thank you Michelle. Social Butterflies, I promise, I won’t be shy, I’ll be social!!
